Travel Stress and Anxiety

How to get rid of travel stress and anxiety?

Anxiety Question:

How do you get rid of travel stress and anxiety?
I'm nervous to fly and to be somewhere new for a week and a half.
What do I do?

Anxiety Answer:

To deal with the stress and anxiety of flying, work a lot a day before your flight and sleep less, so when you get in the airplane, you will feel so exhausted that you will fall sleep.

This is what I do every time I fly (not because I am afraid, but I hate being for hours in there).

About being anxious in a new place, I don't know exactly what you can do. Most people feel this way about the unknown, it's normal. I would try to check over the net guides about the place, to get more familiar and make plans for where to go and what to do, this way, the trip can be more pleasurable with less travel stress and anxiety.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

Consider Seeing A Therapist

"Therapists are often trained to deal with specific problems, such as social anxiety. They are usually very skilled at making their clients feel comfortable, making the relationship between the therapist and client much more productive. If you decide that you are ready for professional assistance, starting with a therapist may be your best option. The therapist will be able to determine if you need help that they are not qualified to give."
