Symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

Suffering from physical symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder

Anxiety Question:

Has anyone had burning chest pain, aching pain, teeth pain, chin pain, jaw falling asleep, sharp arm pains off and on, a lot of gas moving in chest, burning stomach in association with anxiety or is it heart related? Also some pains in leg, back of head and dizziness and headaches? And comes and goes worse during anxiety. It usually starts about a week before a weird sensation in my throat.

Anxiety Answer:

Sounds like you have GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder).

The chest and stomach problems are your body's way of telling you it is so overwhelmed with anxiety that it cannot take another thing in (i.e. digest food properly).

The teeth and jaw pain is probably caused by you grinding your teeth while you sleep.

And the pains in your extremities (leg, arms and head) are caused by lack of oxygen because you don't breathe. This is also why you get dizzy headaches.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

My beliefs are changing way down deep!

Just three weeks ago I received your "Dissolving Panic and Anxiety" CD after suffering from an anxiety disorder and crippling panic attacks for nearly four years.

I really had reached the point where I felt "managing" was as good as it would get, but your program changed that! After listening twice a day for the last three weeks I FEEL HAPPIER AND MORE RELAXED than I ever believed I would feel again!

In particular, I have really benefited from falling asleep with the program. Bedtime has been when I have tended to be the most vulnerable to an anxiety episode.

My beliefs are changing way down deep where it counts.

I recommend this program to anybody with anxiety!
