Stress and Anxiety - Nervous Stomach

Is"nervous stomach" caused by stress and anxiety?

Anxiety Question:

Does anyone know what causes a "nervous stomach"?
Is it stress and anxiety?

Anxiety Answer:

For the average individual that does not get it too often, the biggest cause is often stress.

Acidic soft drinks and coffee can often contribute to it.

However, some people are very prone too it and get it often. These people often have a "nervous disposition" and are subject to anxiety, high stress levels, lack of good stress management, and worrying.

All of these things lead to a "fight or flight" response within the nervous system and since fighting is out that leaves the "flighty" feeling.
