What to do for Anxiety Relief?
What can you do to get relief from anxiety...
Anxiety Question:
What can you do to get relief from anxiety and haunting thoughts?
Anxiety Answer:
I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder, depression, and I used to have panic attacks so bad my husband would have to take me to the E.R.
I started going to a "shrink" and that has helped so much.
I'll share with you how he helped me find relief from panic attacks, and helped with the post traumatic stress disorder.
Your mind cannot completely focus on two things at once. You can have "racing" thoughts. But one thought has to leave before you can focus on another.
If there is something you are dwelling on and just simply can't get rid of it, try these things:
Get an ice cube and hold in your hand. Your mind will have to stop thinking about the bad, as you focus on how the ice feels in your hand.
Another one is to put a rubber band around your wrist; when the thoughts start, snap it as many times as it takes to get your mind on something else.
Another is to take a shower with the water as hot or as cold as you can stand, and turn it to where the water is hitting your body as hard as you can stand, for as long as you can stand it.
