How to Prevent Anxiety Attacks?

How can I prevent anxiety attacks?

Anxiety Question:

How can I prevent anxiety attacks?
I have anxiety attacks constantly.
I take medication for it and that helps some.

Anxiety Answer:

Anxiety attacks are never easy.

When you find yourself in a situation where you feel an anxiety attack coming on get tough with yourself. Tell yourself to get over it.

Try meditation and relaxation techniques to the point where they come naturally when you feel an anxiety attack comes on.

I too have suffered from anxiety attacks and became a recluse due to them. I finally put my foot down and said no way is this going to rule my life.

If you are not already, get yourself into counseling, find out what it is that has made you so fearful. Check and see if PTSD or BPD could be the cause (post traumatic stress disorder/borderline personality disorder). Ask your counselor if EMDR is something that might help you.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

I have new found energy and enthusiasm!

Before I started listening to your "Dissolving Panic and Anxiety" CD's, I would spend most of my day in bed! I was just too overwhelmed by pretty much everything. Now, after listening to your CD's morning and night, I love getting up in the morning and exercising! I'm thinking so much clearer, feeling a lot less overwhelmed, I feel I don't have as many problems and I'm socializing more! I have a new found energy and enthusiasm!

Thank you! I'm only 27 years old and this has been I great burden on my life for a long time. It feels like a miracle. It's only been sixteen days. I can't wait to see how I feel, and how much my life has changed after ninety days.

Kind Regards
