Mild Anxiety Disorder - Am I Alone?

I have been diagnosed with mild anxiety disorder.

Anxiety Question:

I have been diagnosed with mild anxiety disorder.

My anxiety stems from worrying that I’m a bad person and I might want to do horrible things even though I don’t (want to do them) and never have.

My psychiatrist told me its just an anxiety symptom but I feel like I’m alone in this. Has this happened to any other anxiety disorder sufferers?

Anxiety Answer:

No, you're not alone.

I also suffer from anxiety disorder and have the same worries.

One thing that helped me was Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps you change the way you think about things, and ask yourself questions when these thoughts occur, like what's the worst that can happen if what I'm thinking is true, and then is that worst thing really actually likely to happen etc.

You should ask your psychiatrist about this if you are not already doing it!

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

Thanks to your CD for changing my life!

Since listening to your "Dissolving Panic and Anxiety" CD's, so much has changed for the better in my life! I'm 52 years old and I have lost 72 lbs (I'm now working on my next 28 pounds), my blood pressure has dropped and so has my cholesterol - all without medication!

Also, I teach fulltime and am a Spanish translator for my school, I've marketed my husband's work nationally, I've begun to slowly build our net worth again (after losing almost $800,000 in the .com crash of 2000), I've said goodbye to crowd anxiety and am now a state trainer for ESL, I've convinced my daughter to finish her degree and we help care for our four year old granddaughter!

When people ask me how I do it all, I tell them about your program!

Thanks for all that you do!

I can't wait to see what I'll do next!! :>)
