Lecithin is needed by every cell in the body and is a key building block of cell membranes; without it, they would harden. Lecithin protects cells from oxidation and largely comprises the protective sheaths surrounding the brain.
However, Lecithin taken in supplement form (versus the form your body manufactures), has not been shown to have a beneficial effect on diseases or anxiety.
Inositol has been studied for bipolar disorder, panic disorder, bulimia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, but the evidence remains far from conclusive. A small double-blind study (21 participants) found that people given 12 g of Inositol daily had fewer and less severe panic attacks as compared to the placebo group.
Inositol in supplement form has more promise than lecithin to treat anxiety. Both are produced in the body and can be maintained with an adequate diet.

I'm able to sleep without drugs!
