Help for Stress and Anxiety

Is there anything that will help stress and anxiety - besides medication?

Anxiety Question:

I was wondering if there is anything that will help stress and anxiety (besides medication).

I'm always stressed out about something and always worried. I stay tired from this and never have any energy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anxiety Answer:

Many mental health centers offer classes on coping with stress and anxiety.

Call your local mental health center; if they don’t have any programs, they should at least be able to refer you to one that does.

I have attended classes, and I learned skills that help me on a daily basis to cope with my stress and anxiety disorder without medication.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

I'm telling people about this program in poetry form!

I would be remiss in not telling you how much a part of my life you have been.

I started listening to your program after a vertigo attack landed me in the emergency room at our local hospital. Your "Dissolving Panic and Anxiety" CD's have become a daily companion for several years.

The program's message of personal courage in the face of adversity has been my greatest inspiration. I began to tell people about this program in poetry form and then developed the courage to submit them to a local Florida newspaper that publishes them monthly! Not too long ago, one appeared on the front page!

Thank you!
