Anxiety Question:

I have generalized anxiety disorder that derives from fear of eating.

I will eat apples and celery, and I eat a bowl of Cheerios a day with orange juice, but overall I'm terribly afraid of what I eat knowing that what you eat can lead to various diseases depending on whether or not you're careful.

What other foods can I eat?

Anxiety Answer:

I deal with generalized anxiety order as well.

Information is power and empowering yourself can help greatly to reduce stress.

I would research any of the relaxation remedies recommended online, particularly Kava Kava, St. Johns Wort, and Passion Flower.

I take 100-250 mgs of GABA for anxiety.

Visit Dr. Andrew Weil's site. I seriously recommend reading what he has to say.

He has many books out and has helped lots of people with medical advice including my mother and myself.

He is widely considered knowledgeable and reputable.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

Avoid Negative People

"The problem with being around negative people is that they increase self doubt, dent your confidence, make you angry or upset, and even give you a personality crisis. I know it's very hard to avoid people you have developed relationships with, but if these people are harming you then you owe it to yourself to reduce the effect these people are having on you."
