Anxiety and Panic Attacks - Trazadone

Has anyone had anxiety and panic attacks while taking Trazadone?

Anxiety Question:

Has anyone had anxiety and panic attacks while taking Trazadone? I take Trazadone at night to help me sleep but in the morning and through the day I sometimes get panic attacks.

I don't eat a lot anyway and I’m wondering if this may have something to do with it or I may have a panic attack disorder or anxiety disorder or both or something else is going on with me.
I also take topamax for migraines and lipitor.

Anxiety Answer:

Trazadone is a great medication used for short periods of time. It is effective, but highly addictive. You should be using it under a doctor's supervision, and s/he should tell you everything you need to do about it.

Your anxiety attack is probably unrelated to your sleep cycles.

Don't assume you have a disease if you have anxiety. It could be normal symptoms, and could be a side effect of the medication.

That's why it's good to get off of it as soon as you can.
Talk to the doctor about it.

Read them to yourself regularly. Confidence, just like fear, is contagious and soon you will it spreading to all areas of your life, giving you a quality life even better than your pre-panic attack days."
