Stress and Anxiety When Flying

How do I reduce stress and anxiety when flying?

Anxiety Question:

How do I reduce stress and anxiety when flying?
I am traveling later this week; I like to fly but I get very anxious when I fly. I think about how we are 30,000 feet in the air and I get a little claustrophobic and my head feels weird.

I was wondering if anyone had some tricks that have helped them out?

Anxiety Answer:

To reduce stress and anxiety, think of how special it is to be able to ride a plane, some people can't afford it.

When you’re sitting there, coasting through the clouds, feel how fabulous it is to be where you are at.

Think of all the people who would love to have your view, if only for a moment.

Besides, within 30 minutes you will have calmed down or passed out, but that is your choice.

Enjoy The Gifts Of The Moment

"Remember this: you have always made it through every other challenge in your life. You will make it through what you are facing right now. Really! So settle into the truth. You will be all right. Get used to asking yourself 'am I living in the present right now?' To live in the present you must be conscious of the fact that you have everything your need in this moment, right now. Enjoy the gifts of this very minute, even if everything is not exactly the way you want it."
