Anxiety Disorder - Short of Breath

Can anxiety make you feel short of breath?

Anxiety Question:

Can anxiety make you feel short of breath all the time? I have just been diagnosed with anxiety disorder. I have never gone through something so bad in my life! I feel like something is wrong with my heart, lungs, or brain, but my doctor says they are fine and it is just anxiety disorder.

Anxiety Answer:

Yes, you can have these symptoms almost all of the time and yet nothing is wrong other than anxiety disorder.

I have had anxiety disorder for most of my life and it can really ruin your life if you let it.

Prescription anxiety drugs like Prozac can help, but I've found that exercise and eating right are most effective.
