Anxiety Disorder from Physical Illness

Can anxiety disorder be a sign of some physical illness?

Anxiety Question:

Can anxiety disorder be a sign of some physical illness?
I have this fear sensation all the time, it gets worse at dusk.
It’s like a bad premonition.

Anxiety Answer:

Yes, anxiety disorders can be brought on by physical problems.

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress of mind or body. My anxiety was brought on by physical problems and mentally it's draining. And having an anxiety disorder doesn't mean you’re loony.

From what you say you’re really suffering from a Panic Disorder.
My anxiety disorder never feels like fear. It's more like being startled and that's a light attack. They can be so bad it feels like a heart attack or stroke, even like the heart being squeezed from the inside by a hand.

Anyways look online; they have lots of web sites run by professionals. Also, see a doctor and get a real opinion on what you do or don't have.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

My new nickname is "Dr. Spectacular"!

I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me through a stressful time with your "Dissolving Panic and Anxiety" CD. I recently had to complete and defend my PhD dissertation and this was causing me much stress and sleeplessness.

After listening to your program for about a week while sleeping, I was able to clearly see what I needed to do. I went into my defense meeting with complete confidence and answered all of the committee's questions easily during a three hour grilling session. After the defense, my main advisor told me, "That wasn't good, that was spectacular!" and I received my PhD! My new nickname is "Dr. Spectacular" and I'm still listening to your program!

I find that I no longer get stressed out, specifically while speaking in front of groups or at night while sleeping. Plus, I am able to plow through lists of goals with little problem now, thanks to your program!

Thank you again!!!!
Sincerely,
Matt Schrager, PhD, Maryland
