Anxiety Question:
Can anxiety disorder cause you to be incapable to have a thought line, recognize the same inner experiences that others have when confronted with the same situation and think and have the sense that your thinking is coherent and well founded?
Anxiety Answer:
I have anxiety disorder so I can answer this with some authority.
The answer is yes and no. It isn't cut and dried.
Everyone has good and bad days and those of us suffering from anxiety disorder have the same.
Some days, the anxiety is so bad it clouds your thinking, perceptions and decisions; other days, you're not as anxious and have periods of clarity that allows you to make choices, answer perplexing questions and create solutions to hard situations.
With my situation because I live in a very anxiety producing environment, anti-anxiety medication and talk therapy enabled me to have more good days than bad.
This combination works for most depending on the source of their anxiety. Best to seek the counsel of a professional mental health care provider.
