Can Anxiety Disorder -
Cause Head Tremors?

Does anxiety disorder cause head tremors?

Anxiety Question:

Does anxiety disorder cause head tremors?
Do head tremors take place during a migraine attack?

Anxiety Answer:

Tremors may occur in healthy individuals due to intense fear, hunger, extreme cold, over excitement or hysteria, and excessive physical exertion and fatigue.

Tremors may increase with anxiety disorder and caffeine and cease during sleep. Tremors are frequently observed in alcoholics. Tremors are common in diseases affecting the organs or brain, and can occur as a symptom of acute pathology such as poisoning and infection.

Tremors can also be the side effect of prolonged use of certain medications such as some antidepressants (amitriptyline, nortriptyline, fluoxetine, sertraline, nefazodone, etc.) and some antihistamines; the tremors caused by these medications subside after the medication is discontinued.

Amongst the diseases associated with tremors, essential tremor and Parkinson's disease are the best known. Tremor can also be caused by multiple sclerosis and can also occur due to large doses of ionizing radiation.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

No more anxiety medication needed!

At the time I discovered your "Dissolving Panic and Anxiety" CD, I had been suffering from an anxiety disorder and panic attacks for about ten years. I'd been hoping to get off medication, but I just couldn't do it.

About two months ago, I decided to try your program and I can honestly say that it truly works!!!! I started listening to it at night before bed, and within days, I was actually falling asleep easily for the first time in ages and a week or two later, didn't need medications anymore! I haven't had a panic attack since I started this program, nor have I needed any medication!

This program is FABULOUS! Life deals us so many issues that doctors often try to help us with by masking them with meds, but we're not really dealing with the problem at hand, just numbing the pain. Your program helps us to realize that the problem is there, yes, but it can be dealt with by simply changing our way of thinking. I LOVE it!!!

Thank you with all my heart!
