Can Anxiety Attacks
Affect Menstrual Cycle?

Can anxiety attacks affect a woman’s menstrual cycle?

Anxiety Question:

I went through a really bad break-up and during that time, which was two weeks ago. I had anxiety attacks. I'm having PMS symptoms, sore breasts and all but I'm three days late and I know I can’t be pregnant.

Anxiety Answer:

Absolutely, anxiety attacks can affect the menstrual cycle.

However, if you did have sex any time within the time of your last period until now, get a pregnancy test; because unless you used a condom, etc... and it didn't break, there's a chance you can be pregnant.

Dealing with Anxiety Advice

Feeling so much better without anxiety medication!

I work in an aviation safety related field, the words "depression", "anxiety", or any other mental or emotional disorder cannot cross my lips without fear of losing my job.

I found myself feeling no identity, no confidence, no respect, no purpose, and no esteem in the job that had been so important to me for 23 years.
I was having daily headaches, muscle pain, TMJ, general malaise. I feared the idea of moving to an unfamiliar area at work, where I would no longer no what I was doing but would be the "rookie". I dreaded training again, so ordered your CD, "Dissolving Panic and Anxiety".

After listening to your program every night for three weeks, I still wake every morning feeling happy, rested, positive, and ready for the day. I've even been indulging my passion for writing! I'm eating well and feeling great!

There can't be a drug on the market that could make me feel as good as this!

I prayed that God would show me a way to feel better without drugs.

Thank you!!
