Anxiety & Depression - Passive Aggressive

Can anxiety and depression have anything to do with passive aggressive disorder?

Anxiety Question:

Can anger, anxiety and depression have anything to do with passive aggressive disorder?

Anxiety Answer:

Passive aggressive disorder is no longer a diagnosis, and passive aggressive behavior typically stems from anger at some person or event that a person might have taken to be directed at them and instead of reacting directly back at the source they do a covert act for revenge.

I would imagine that anxiety may accompany the hurt of the supposed act for which one would seek revenge, and the hurt may also cause depression as we tend to internalize any criticism or hurtful act.

Panic attacks gone!
