Anti Anxiety Medication Combination

What would happen if one would take 3 anti anxiety medications - Ambien, Paxil and Welbutaran together?

Anxiety Question:

What would happen if one would take 10-20 mgs of Ambien, 40 mgs of Paxil, and 60 mgs of Welbutaran? Sleep? Seizures? Death?

What is the result of combining these anti anxiety medications?

Anxiety Answer:

There are people who take all three of these anti anxiety medications.

Usually, you begin one of them and titrate the dose up. Then add another until you receive the desired effect.

The appropriate dose of Ambien is 5-10 mg at bedtime. I do have a patient who takes 20 mg at night, but he has chronic pain and he is dying from lung cancer.

Most likely you would need to be under a psychiatrist's care to have all of these meds prescribed at the doses you are inquiring about.

Most primary care doctors wouldn't feel comfortable prescribing these high doses.

Guilt Has No Place In Your Life

"Guilt is a major, major contributor to stress and depressive illness. Never give anyone power over you by letting them use this worthless but painful weapon against you for their own gain. It's totally unacceptable, especially from someone who claims to love you. The bottom line here is that guilt, in whatever form, has no place in your life from now on. You are moving on to a new, happier, guilt free chapter in your life."
